Mike Jacoby returned to Wisconsin Athletics in Fall 2023 and serves as the Badgers' Tutor program coordinator in the Academic & Career Development department.
He previously worked with Wisconsin's Academic Services office as the Tutorial and Mentor Coordinator. In this role, Jacoby was responsible for overseeing, assigning, and evaluating the department’s tutors in addition to hiring and training incoming tutors.
Jacoby completed his Master’s degree in writing at Northern Michigan University. While earning his Master’s, he managed a writing center, ran grammar workshops and worked as an associate editor for the literary journal, Passages North.
Prior to graduate school, he completed his B.S. at NMU in English and psychology. During his studies, Jacoby ran club track and worked as a writing tutor. He lives in Madison, Wis.
