Ty Taylor is in his second season with the Wisconsin football program in 2021, serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Taylor brings to the Badgers four years of experience on NFL strength and conditioning staffs, most recently three seasons spent with the Cleveland Browns from 2017-19. He worked on the Philadelphia Eagles’ strength staff in 2016.

Prior to his time in the NFL, Taylor gained collegiate experience through strength and conditioning internships at Penn and LaSalle.

Taylor spent 11 years teaching mathematics in his native Philadelphia, while also developing strength programs in middle and high schools during that time. He is a graduate of Hampton University with a degree in mathematics and went on to earn a master’s in education and athletic coaching from North Central University.

Taylor is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA, is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through CSCCa and also holds USA Track & Field certification.

Taylor his wife, Sharmaine, have three children: Aiyanna, Kylee and Tye.
