Spectrum joins Wisconsin Athletics on the field at Camp Randall and courtside at the Kohl Center
September 04, 2026 | Football
MADISON, Wis. – Spectrum, America's Connectivity Company, and Wisconsin Athletics have announced a new multiyear partnership naming Spectrum the Official Internet, Wireless and Television Service Provider of Wisconsin Athletics, bringing Badger fans closer to the moments that define the season — on the football field, on the court and on the ice.
Â
Facilitated by Learfield, the partnership is anchored by premier football visibility, including on-field logos and extensive LED signage inside Camp Randall Stadium, along with branded phone charging stations throughout the stadium as part of the Wisconsin Athletics Powered by Spectrum platform. That presence extends well beyond fall Saturdays, with exposure across Wisconsin basketball, volleyball, and men's and women's hockey, keeping fans connected to the Badgers across every season of the school year.
Â
"We're excited about the partnership with Spectrum," said Deputy AD/Chief Revenue Officer for Wisconsin Athletics Mitchell Pinta. "Together, we look forward to creating even more engaging experiences for Badger fans at games and across communities throughout Wisconsin."
Â
Beyond the venues, the partnership features social media sweepstakes, branded content with Learfield Studios, and title sponsorship of select community events. Spectrum will also support opportunities for Badger student-athletes through brand collaborations, including social media features and appearances.
Â
"Badger fans don't just show up on gamedays — they're tailgating or gathering with friends and family, filling Camp Randall, and watching from home when they can't be there in person," said John Higgins, Regional Vice President of Spectrum's Great Lakes service area. "Our employees and customers live in these same communities across the state, so this partnership isn't a one-time appearance for us — it's a way to be present with Badger fans every week, all season, wherever they're watching."
Â
Whether the Badgers are opening the season against Notre Dame on NBC/Peacock, packing the Kohl Center for basketball, or hosting hockey on a Friday night, Spectrum will be part of the backdrop — in the venues and across the platforms Badger fans use to follow their team year-round.
Â
"We set out to find the right partner to place on the field at Camp Randall," said Scott Silvestri, Vice President and General Manager of Badger Sports Properties. "We're thrilled to embark on a holistic and multi-faceted relationship with Spectrum, who's already active in our community and with Badger nation."
Â
The partnership between Wisconsin Athletics and Spectrum was brokered in collaboration with Learfield's corporate partnerships group and the locally-based Badger Sports Properties team.
