April 26, 2002 | Softball
Madison's ESPN Radio (AM 1070) will broadcast tonight's UW softball game versus Iowa at 6 p.m. The Big Ten matchup, UW's second home night tilt in school history, will be the first Wisconsin softball contest broadcast on the radio.
Aaron Sims is calling the action with former UW softball player Amanda Berg providing commentary. Berg, a Chippewa Falls, Wis., native who played for the Badgers from 1996 to 2000, holds the distinction of being UW's first softball signee.
Coverage begins at 4 p.m. with Sims' daily Bullpen show live from the Goodman Diamond. The show is scheduled to include interviews with head coach Karen Gallagher and UW players.
