More Honors For James

Erasmus James, senior defensive end for the Wisconsin football team, has been named one of five finalists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which is presented annually to the nation 's top defensive player by the Charlotte Touchdown Club and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).
James also has been selected to the 2004 Cingular ABC Sports All-America Team as voted on by the FWAA.
The Nagurski Trophy will be awarded in Charlotte, N.C., on Dec. 6. The other four finalists are Jonathan Goddard of Marshall, Derrick Johnson of Texas, David Pollack of Georgia and Carlos Rogers of Auburn.
James and the Badgers will take their 9-1 overall record (6-1 in the Big Ten) to Iowa City on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. CST encounter with the Hawkeyes. ESPN will televise the game live.
