Coming off a bye week, Wisconsin will head west for game six

MADISON, Wis. - Wisconsin Football (4-1, 2-0 B1G) faces off against the No. 12 UCLA Bruins (5-0, 3-0 B1G) on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Rose Bowl Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on NBC.
Wisconsin is in search of its second-straight win over a ranked team on the road after pulling off a comeback at No. 13 Penn State on Sept. 26. The last time Wisconsin won back-to-back road games against ranked teams was 2004.
Last time out, Wisconsin topped Michigan State 31-3 at Camp Randall Stadium on Oct. 3. Wisconsin's dominant defense continued to shine during the game, and QB Colton Joseph stepped up in a big way, totaling three touchdown passes and 141 rushing yards.
The Bruins are currently 5-0, with their most recent win on the road at Oregon on Saturday, Oct. 10 17-15. Their other conference wins have come against Purdue (52-38) on Sept. 19, and in a blowout at Maryland (54-3) on Sept. 26.

COJO ON THE RUN
Joseph’s standout performance against Michigan State earned him the title of Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week. His 141 yards on the ground were the most ever for a Badger quarterback in a conference game and the second most for a Badger ever, only behind Tanner McEvoy against Bowling Green in 2014 (158).

HOMECOMING VICTORY
Wisconsin’s Homecoming win on Oct. 3 was their first since beating Rutgers in 2023 (24-13). It also marks their fourth consecutive win, adding to their longest streak since 2021 when they won seven back-to-back games.

HAVE A DAY HARRIS
TE Jacob Harris is on a hot streak that shows no sign of slowing down. He scored touchdowns in back-to-back games against No. 13 Penn State and Michigan State, the first Badger TE to do so since Jake Ferguson in 2018. His pair of scores against Michigan State were also the first time a TE hauled in two touchdown passes in one game since Clay Cundiff in 2022 against Washington State.
SERIES HISTORY
UCLA leads the all-time series 7-4, but Wisconsin has earned victories in the last three meetings. The Badgers most recently beat the Bruins on Dec. 29, 2000. UW won that neutral site game in El Paso, Texas 21-20.
PLAYER SPOTLIGHT - CB JAVAN ROBINSON
CB Javan Robinson was already familiar with Camp Randall Stadium before becoming a Badger. After experiencing the atmosphere as an opposing player in 2022, the cornerback returned to Madison this season with a different perspective, running out of the tunnel for the first time in a Wisconsin uniform.
“It felt amazing, just being on the good side of it, running out of this tunnel instead of the other one,” Robinson said. “It felt great seeing all the fans here. It was something that was real special.”
Having experienced both sides of a game at Camp Randall, Robinson has developed an appreciation for the traditions that make the stadium unique.
“Everything really. I like our fourth quarter, our jump, like that’s crazy,” Robinson said. “Even being here in 2022, when I saw that I was like ‘What? That’s crazy.’”
Beyond the atmosphere, Robinson said the relationships he has built with his teammates have helped shape his experience at Wisconsin.
“It means family, when I think of Badger it means family,” Robinson said. “We’re a tight knit group, everyone loves each other, everyone hangs out with each other.”
