UW to Hold Holiday Softball Camps This Winter

Reserve your space now for the 2005-06 University of Wisconsin holiday softball camps Dec. 30-31 and Jan. 15 at the McClain Athletic Facility near Camp Randall Stadium.
Head coach Chandelle Schulte, as well as assistant coaches Barbara Sherwood and Martha McCall, will be on hand to lead the four clinics'pitching (Dec. 30), catching (Dec. 30), hitting (Dec. 31) and all skills (Jan. 15). Each camp runs from 9 a.m. to as late as 4 p.m.
The camps are designed to provide fundamentals and training to softball players ranging from age seven through high school. The camp goal is to promote improvement and development through demonstration and involvement. Athletes will be broken into smaller groups based on their existing skill levels.
Costs range from $75-120 (with a $15 discount for attending a Dec. 30 camp and the one on the 31st). The pre-registration deadline is Dec. 19. All spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis; however, walk-up space may be available. Applicants registered on time will receive a confirmation packet containing directions and other related material.
