Weekend Festivities at Softball

This weekend's softball series against conference rival Minnesota features a few special promotions for Wisconsin fans.
Saturday is Fan Appreciation Day. All fans are eligible to win prizes that will be given out throughout the game. Prizes include gift cards to Buffalo Wild Wings and University Bookstores and an overnight stay at the DoubleTree hotel in Madison and the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells. You must be present to win.
Prior to the first game against Minnesota, Lynn Anderson (Neenah, Wis.) and Joey Daniels (Oakley, Calif.) will be recognized in the annual Senior Day ceremony.
Sunday is Team Day. Club teams, youth teams and high school teams are invited to fax a team roster to (608) 265-0788 to receive free admission.
In addition, UW head football coach, Bret Bielema will throw the ceremonial first pitch prior to the start of Sunday's game.
From 11 a.m. to noon, TJ Theus, a member of the UW football team will be signing autographs Sunday.
