Badgers to host MATC and Green Bay

The University of Wisconsin softball team is holding their annual Fall Festival tournament this Saturday, September 27, at the Goodman Softball Complex. The two teams joining the Badgers for the exhibition are Green Bay and MATC.
Games will be played at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., with the team's annual Red/White scrimmage following on Sunday, September 28. Click sportid=126"> --> here for Live Stats from each game
The Badgers hope to continue their success against Green Bay after winning 2-0 in last year's tournament. The teams met again on April 23, as the Badgers won the double-header 6-1 and 4-1. Wisconsin leads the all-time series against the Phoenix 21-6-1.
Chandelle Schulte begins her fourth year as head coach with twelve returning letterwinners from the 2008 team, including eight starters.
After this weekend's tournament the Badgers have only one other fall game which is on October 2, against Heartland College. Both the Fall Festival tournament and the Red/ White scrimmage are free to attend. Free parking is also available in lots 60 and 76 next to Goodman Diamond.
