Team Notes
•    The Badgers have beaten Minnesota seven straight seasons, the longest winning streak for UW against the Golden Gophers in the series (which dates back to 1890). The Badgers have now won eight straight games against Minnesota at Camp Randall Stadium, dating back to 1996.
•    UW extended its home winning streak to six games. The Badgers have won 13 of their last 14 games at Camp Randall Stadium and are 40-4 at home with head coach Bret Bielema on staff (since 2004).
•    Wisconsin was 6-for-6 on red zone opportunities, scoring six touchdowns. The Badgers have now scored on 29 of 33 possessions inside the 20-yard line on the year, with two of those failed attempts coming when UW knelt on the ball to run out the clock.
•    Not counting the two end of game possessions when UW knelt on the ball to kill the clock, the Badgers have posted touchdowns on their last 20 red zone trips (6 vs. Minnesota, 2 vs. Michigan State, 9 vs. Austin Peay, 2 vs. Arizona State and 1 vs. San Jose State).
•    Wisconsin did not turn the ball over against Minnesota. This marks the fourth-consecutive game without a turnover for the Badgers. That is the longest consecutive streak for UW since the 1999 and 2000 seasons when the Badgers did not cough up the football in four straight vs. Purdue (11/6/99), Iowa (11/13/99), Stanford (1/1/00) and Western Michigan (8/31/00).
•    Wisconsin scored a touchdown on its first drive of the game, the fourth time in six games the Badgers have scored a TD on their first offensive possession. Their four game-opening TD drives have traveled 80, 77, 69 and 68 yards.
•    The Badgers have also scored on their opening drive of the second half in five of its six games, including touchdowns in each of the last three games.
•    UW had two five-minute scoring drives in the third quarter, its longest scoring drives since a 6:38 drive vs. UNLV in the season-opener. Both of those drives lasted at least 10 plays, giving the Badgers eight different 10-play scoring drives this season.
•    Wisconsin won the time of possession stat by a margin of 34:02 to 25:58 margin. The Badgers have won that category in five of six games this season, and UW is just the second team to win that category against the Gophers this season, who ranked second in the nation in that category coming into Saturday.

Individual Notes
•    Junior RB John Clay tied a career high with three TD runs. He has seven TDs in his career vs. Minnesota and is now fifth in school history with 37 career rushing touchdowns. Wisconsin is now 19-3 when Clay runs for at least one touchdown.
•    Clay surpassed the 100-yard mark on the ground for the 11th time in the past 12 games and the 17th time in his career (tied for fifth-most in school history). Wisconsin is 15-2 when Clay runs for at least 100 yards.
•    Clay now has 3,093 rushing yards in his career and today became the eighth running back in school history to go over 3,000 career yards. He ranks eighth in UW history.
•    Freshman RB James White has 361 yards and eight TDs in his last three games. Today he rushed for 118 yards on a career-high 19 carries with two touchdowns, the second 100-yard game of his career.
•    This is the second time in three games that Clay and White have both rushed for at least 100 yards. Over the past three games, the two have combined for 93 carries and 670 yards with 12 TDs.
•    WR Jared Abbrederis scored his first career touchdown on a 3-yard TD pass in the first quarter. A redshirt freshman walk-on, Abbrederis had three catches for 33 yards today and ranks second on the team with 15 catches and 172 yards on the season.
•    Sophomore LB Mike Taylor recorded a career-high 3.0 tackles for loss and finished with seven total tackles.
•    With QB Scott Tolzien’s 223 passing yards and Clay’s 111 rushing yards, Wisconsin is now 17-1 under head coach Bret Bielema with a 200-yard passer and a 100-yard runner in the same game.
