Madison, Wis. – Badger men’s golf coach Jim Schuman announced the signing of Thomas O’Bryan of Aurora, Ill., and Jordan Wetsch of St. Charles, Ill., to national letters of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin next fall.
"We are extremely excited that both Thomas and Jordan have committed to become part of the Badger Golf program," Schuman said. "Both Thomas and Jordan have been successful on the course at both the state and national levels while also exceling in the classroom. We expect that both players will have an immediate impact on our program."
O’Bryan became the first state champion in Waubonsie Valley High School history when he won the 3A Illinois State High School Golf championship in sudden death in October, 2010. He shot 4-over par 72-78—148 in regulation and then won on the second playoff hole.
