Second game of Minnesota doubleheader canceled

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The second game of the doubleheader between Wisconsin and Minnesota scheduled for Wednesday night has been canceled.
The first game of the doubleheader, which started at 4 p.m., lasted over three hours. A lightning delay then pushed the second game's start time back to a 8:05 p.m. With Wisconsin still facing a long bus ride back to Madison, and the fact that both teams are in the midst of finals, the decision was made to cancel the game.
The Badgers close out the 2010 season this weekend, hosting Michigan State on Friday and Saturday. Friday's contest starts at 6 p.m. and is highlighted by senior day and the Party in the Park. Saturday's game starts at 12 p.m.
