Healy announces fall softball camp

MADISON, Wis. – High school and junior college players can get the chance to compete in a Big Ten stadium as new Wisconsin softball coach Yvette Healy has announced her first fall softball camp.
The UW 2010 Fall Softball Camps take place on Sunday, Aug. 29 or Sunday, Sept. 12 from 1-4 p.m.
The camp offers the teaching of advanced softball skills, interactive drills and competitive situations. Each three-hour fall camp includes position-specific skill instruction, advanced offensive breakdown and instructional competition. The UW coaching staff will provide hands-on skill instruction, allowing for maximum skill enhancement and personalized interaction and feedback.
All camp activities take place at Wisconsin’s home field, Goodman Diamond, with its state-of-the-art amenities including four batting cages, four bullpen mounds, a full stadium, an additional practice field, locker rooms and a team meeting/media room.
