The Southeastern Amateur is a top-level amateur golf tournament with a rich history dating back to 1922 - when the tournament was started by Fred Haskins. Each year, the Southeastern Amateur has the great honor of hosting many of the nations top amateur golfers. From hosting the likes of Division I NCCA National Champions to the nations top Mid-Amateurs.
The Southeastern Amateur typically takes place the same week as U.S. Open. Historically this has been the second week of the "summer swing" where the collegiate players travel from city to city honing their skills for their next year of NCAA competition.
