Wisconsin prepares for two doubleheaders this weekend

Madison, Wis.- Wisconsin softball faces Green Bay this Saturday and Heartland Community College on Sunday for two doubleheaders at Goodman Diamond. Play begins at 1 p.m. on both days.

The Badgers opened the fall season Sept. 16, defeating Kirkwood Community College in a doubleheader 4-0, 11-2.

Wisconsin finished the 2012 season with a program best record of 34-19, while Green Bay's record for the 2012 season was 23-28 and Heartland Community College's was 57-15.

The Badgers will close out their fall season with a doubleheader against Loyola University-Chicago on Saturday, Oct. 13.
