MADISON, Wis. - Registration is now open for the 2015 Summer Softball Camps but spots are filling up fast. Two camps, a pitching and offensive camp, will be held on June 17 at Goodman Diamond for any and all females in seventh through 12th grades. If you are interested in receiving information about specific camps please visit uwcamps.com.
Pitching Camp
This session will help campers take their pitching skills to the next level. All aspects of pitching (mechanics, pitch movement, pitch selection, pitch development, etc.) will be addressed, and participant to instructor ratios will be kept low to allow for individualized attention. Assistant coach Missy Beseres Dow and associate head coach Randy Schneider from the UW softball coaching staff will be present to lead the session in order to allow young pitchers to develop their skills. These sessions are open to any and all females in seven through 12th grades. Pitchers must supply a catcher that is 18 years old or older. These individuals will be asked to sign a release of liability upon arrival.

These thorough instructions and explanations will help campers become better equipped to change the game with one swing of the bat. Coach Schneider will also explain and demonstrate the essential techniques and strategies needed in order to become a better overall base runner.
