MADISON, Wis. — Fans attending Saturday's football game against Nebraska at Camp Randall Stadium are reminded that events in downtown Madison could impact parking and travel to and from the game. Fans should consider this information and allow extra time as they make their plans for Saturday's game, which is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m.
Traffic Routes and Road Closures
Due to Freakfest, Madison's annual Halloween celebration on State Street, several streets will be closed to traffic, resulting in alternate traffic routes both pre-game and post-game.

Portions of Lake Street, Gilman Street, Johnson Street and Dayton Street will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Gorham Street will close at Blair Street at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Fans traveling west on Gorham Street after 6 p.m. will be directed to Blair Street, then John Nolen Drive, then Broom Street and finally west-bound University Avenue toward Camp Randall Stadium. After 6 p.m. no vehicle traffic will be permitted to cross State Street.
Post-game east bound traffic on West Johnson Street will have several options to travel to the east side of Madison and points beyond.
- From West Johnson Street, head north on Park Street, east on Langdon Street, south on Wisconsin Avenue to return to East Johnson Street.
- From West Johnson Street, head south on Bassett Street, east on West Washington Avenue, south on Fairchild Street, east on West Doty Avenue, north on South Webster Street. From there fans could go east on East Washington Avenue or continue to Hamilton Street to East Johnson Street.
- From West Johnson Street, head south on Bassett Street, east on West Wilson Street, south on Broom Street, east on John Nolen Drive, north on North Blair Street and east on East Washington Avenue.
Shuttle Service Adjustments
Due to the road closures and alternate traffic routes listed above, some adjustments will be made to the Bucky Shuttle Service. Shuttles serving the city-owned parking lots on Lake Street will see their downtown pick-up and drop-off location moved to 700 University Avenue near the Chazen Museum of Art.

Shuttles serving the city-owned State Street/Capitol ramp will see their downtown pick-up and drop-off location moved to 98 West Gorham Street.
Additionally, pick-ups and drop-offs will not be available in the 400 and 500 blocks of State Street.
Shuttles serving the city owned Capitol Square South ramp, Government East ramp, Capitol Square North ramp and University Lots 60, 64 and 74 will be unaffected and run as normal.
