Quotable
"I thought these two (
Lauryn Gillis and
Sydney Hilley) did a really nice job. I thought we got better as the match went on. Offensively, I thought we were pretty good. I don't think there was a whole lot of defense being played. I'm not going to judge their side, but certainly on our side, I didn't think we were real good defensively. But I thought offensively we were awfully good.
Â
"It's been a really good week. We're happy with the week. We feel like we got better.
Â
"I loved the mentality that Gilly had all the way through. She was ready to play and showed a lot of strength and senior leadership. It's something that we've come to expect out of her. She's put together a few matches in a row that she's been awfully good."
Â
-Head coach
Kelly SheffieldÂ
"It's something (improving her energy) that I've been working on for a while. It's something that's been progressing for me. I think that Nebraska game gave me more confidence, just knowing that we have to treat this game the same way. Every Big Ten team is a challenge. So we need to treat them the same way. It's my mindset. I'm not worried about who's on the other side of the net."
