Badgers and Gophers to tip 5 p.m. (CT) on BTN
MADISON, Wis. — The Big Ten Conference announced on Tuesday that No. 16 Wisconsin's home game against Minnesota on Sunday, March 5, will air on Big Ten Network and tip off at 5 p.m. (CT) at the Kohl Center.
It will mark the second meeting this season between the rival Badgers (22-5, 11-3 Big Ten) and Gophers (20-7, 8-6). In the first meeting, Wisconsin won an overtime thriller, 78-76, in Minneapolis.
This will mark the 201st all-time meeting between the border rivals. The Gophers lead the all-time series, 102-98, but the Badgers have won six straight games and have taken five straight in Madison.
This week, Wisconsin hits the road for a pair of contests, beginning Thursday night at Ohio State with an 8 p.m. (CT) game on ESPN. On Sunday, the Badgers face Michigan State at 3 p.m. on CBS.
