Badgers set to compete in Boilermaker Invitational

UW will face six Big Ten teams in final regular season tournament
WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. -- The Wisconsin men's golf team will compete in one final tournament this weekend to wrap up the regular season as the Badgers travel to West Lafayette, Indiana, to play in the Boilermaker Invitational.
Held at the Kampen Golf Course, the 15-team field includes 38th-ranked and host Purdue, Ohio State, Indiana, Toledo, Cincinnati, No. 16 UNLV, Southern Illinois, No. 41 Michigan State, Northern Illinois, No. 34 Northwestern, Miami (OH), Michigan, No. 46 UCF and No. 12 Kent State.
Wisconsin's lineup consists of sophomores Jordan Hahn and Brett Robinson, freshmen Pete Kuhl and Nick Robinson, senior Ben Skogen and junior Eddie Wajda.
In UW's most recent tournament, the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate, Hahn finished at 5-over to sit as the top Badger golfer for the third-consecutive tournament. At 9-over, Kuhl tied for 68th and Skogen came in two strokes back. Brett Robinson ended in a tie for 78th while Nick Robinson claimed 79th.
Wajda's best tournament of the spring came at the All-American Intercollegiate, where he finished at 4-over to pick up his second-best 54-hole total of the year and tied for 46th.Â
Saturday's 36 holes will tee off with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. (CT). The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday. Live scoring can be found at Birdiefire.com.
