Wisconsin makes first-ever trip to Maryland
The Wisconsin softball team is starting the final stretch of its season with the last conference series at Maryland. It will be UW's first trip to College Park and just the second time in program history that the two teams are meeting up.Â

The countdown is on as several Badgers are closing in on Wisconsin all-time career records. Senior Chloe Miller already holds the runs batted in record of 176 RBI and has tied the career doubles record at 53, while junior Kelsey Jenkins holds the career walks record with 130.

SCOUTING REPORT:
- The Terrapins have a 10-35-1 record on the season with notable upsets against Michigan and Florida.Â
- Head coach Julie Wright won her 200th career game on April 15, as the Terps defeated No. 18 Michigan at Maryland Stadium.
- History: UMD leads the series 1-0 all-time and this will be the first time the two teams meet in College Park.
- Common Connections: Â The Badgers and Terrapins have played 14 of the same opponents. Maryland is 2-12 against that field while UW is 8-6.
- Dewey gets it done: Senior Hannah Dewey pitched one of the finest games of her Terrapin career on April 29 to lead Maryland to a 2-1 extra innings victory over Penn State. Dewey pitched all 11 innings, allowing just one run on three hits while striking out three in the contest.
- Dewey had a fantastic outing to earn the win against No. 18 Michigan on April 15, allowing just one run to clinch Maryland's third win over a ranked team on the year.

- There is one award that stands out among the rest in Division I college softball and that is the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. There is one name that stands out among the best in the history of Wisconsin softball and that is Chloe Miller.
