Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational named top regular-season meet by FloTrack

Ninth-annual meet to take place on Oct. 13
MADISON, Wis. – The Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Presented by Under Armour checked in as the No. 2 meet of the 2017 NCAA cross country season, according to FloTrack's rankings released earlier this week.
The only meet to be ranked higher that the Badgers' prestigious home invitational as this year's NCAA championships, which will take place on Nov. 18 in Louisville, Kentucky.
This year's Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational will take place on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course, which will also be the site of the 2018 NCAA Championships. The meet will be shown live on FloTrack.
To be included in the rankings, races had to have at least two teams ranked in the top 25 of the Saucony Flo50 preseason rankings. Competitions were scored on the number of ranked teams participating, with higher ranked teams garnering more points.
According to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Coaches' Poll released on Sept. 26, 18 of the 30 ranked women's teams and 21 of the 30 ranked men's teams will come to Madison for the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.
