Happ earns second-straight Big Ten honor

Senior named Big Ten Player of the Week after two double-doubles
MADISON, Wis. – For the second-straight week, Wisconsin men's basketball's Ethan Happ took home conference honors as the senior was named the Big Ten Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
It marks the fourth time that Happ, a Milan, Illinois, native has earned conference Player of the Week accolades posting back-to-back honors in January of 2017 before sharing the honor last Monday.
Happ poured in 30 points while adding 13 rebounds in the Badgers' 77-68 win over Xavier on Tuesday night before enjoying a 15-point, 13-rebound night in only 25 minutes in UW's home win over Houston Baptist.

- Happ became the all-time leading rebounder in program history during UW's win over HBU.
- Happ's 30-point performance at Xavier trails only his 32-point effort in 2017 against Rutgers in Madison Square Garden.
- With double-doubles in each of his first 3 games, Happ now has 34 in his career, ranking third behind only Joe Franklin (47 from 1966-68) and Kim Hughes (39 from 1972-74).
- Happ is just the 7th Badger to post multiple games with 30+ points since 1995. Averaging 18.3 points, 12.0 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game, Happ is the nation's only player averaging even 18.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 6.0 apg.
- Happ also currently ranks 7th in UW history in points (1,596), 12th in assists (293), 6th in blocks (114) and 3rd in steals (181).
