MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's basketball team returned home and got back to winning ways, putting up a 101-60 win over Savannah State at the Kohl Center on Thursday night.
The Badgers (9-2 overall, 2-0 Big Ten) were led in scoring by sophomore guard
Brad Davison with 24 points, while senior forward
Ethan Happ added 18 points, freshman guard
Tai Strickland scored 14 points and sophomore guard
D'Mitrik Trice contributed 14 points.
UW got ahead immediately and never looked back, ahead 69-32 at half. Wisconsin's 69 points in the first frame marked a school record for points in a half. The previous best was 67, set against Iowa in 1988.
The Badgers shot 57 percent from the field and 43 percent from 3-point range, as 11 Badgers saw the court and 10 notched their name in the scoring column.

Next up, Wisconsin will face Grambling State on Dec. 22 at the Kohl Center. The game is scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT tip.
