AMES, Iowa -- For the fifth-time this year, Taylor Amann won the pole vault as the Wisconsin women's track and field standout took home the event title at the ISU Classic on Saturday. 
 
Amann won her ninth-straight indoor title with a clearance of 13 feet 9 1/4 inches. The senior was one of four Badgers to earn a top-10 finish in the event as Jane McCurry finished fifth tying her season best mark of 12-5 1/2 and Rayce Albino came in seventh clearing the bar at 11-11 3/4. Claire Buck rounded out the event for the Badgers finishing in ninth with a mark of 11-5 3/4.
 
The Badgers saw a number of other top three finishes on the day starting with Chinne Okoronkwo who was runner up in the triple jump with her best mark of the season 41-1 1/2.
 
Rounding out the field events for the day was Sophia Rivera, who took second in the shot put with a heave of 51-3. Junior Banke Oginni finished in fourth with a throw of 50-7 1/4.

On the track, Gabby DesRosiers saw her fastest time of the season in the 400 meters placing sixth in 55.94.  Bianca Stubler finished in 14th with a time of 57.13 and Haley Lubow followed in 23rd crossing the finish line in 58.86.
 
Hannah Wilson started out the day with the 60 meters. The freshman finished in ninth with a time of 7.85 seconds, just narrowly missing the qualification for the finals.
Rounding out the day was the powerful 4x400 meter team of Gabby DesRosiers, Bianca Stubler, Haley Lubow and Hannah Wilson. The Badger squad finished in 3:51.39. 
 
The Badgers will return home next weekend for the Shell Shocker in at the Camp Randall Sports Center. The Badgers' first home meet of the season will kick off with field events at 3 p.m. and running events at 5 p.m. in a double-dual against Marquette and Northern Iowa.
