BLUFFTON, S.C. -- The Wisconsin men's golf team finished seventh out of 12 teams at the 2018 Colleton River Collegiate.
Despite shooting their best round of the tournament on Tuesday, the Badgers could not overcome two tough rounds on Monday, as they finished at 55-over par.
The Badgers were led by junior
Jordan Hahn, who shot a 2-under par 70 in the final round to jump 12 spots and finish in a tie for 20
th.
Griffin Barela saved his best for last as well, shooting 1-over par on Tuesday to earn a share of 31
st place.
"It was good to see some of our guys help us move up in the final round. Jordan and Griffin really looked solid today, but overall it was a disappointing week coming off our last performance. We need to figure out these issues quickly and come back stronger later this month" UW Head Coach
Michael Burcin said.
Iowa State took the Colleton River Collegiate title with a score of 880 (+16) and blew away the field, finishing 13 strokes in front of runner up Cincinnati.
