Men’s hockey Oct. 7 exhibition game tickets on sale Friday for $5

Canada's University of Victoria returns to Madison for first time since 2016
MADISON, Wis. – Like it did to open the 2016-17 campaign, the Wisconsin men's hockey team will begin the 2018-19 season with an exhibition contest against the University of Victoria at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers will welcome the Vikes on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m.
The matchup will be part of the Kohl's Sunday Kids' Days promotion which highlights Sunday UW sporting events and provides premium items to kids 12 and younger.
This specific Sunday Kids Day men's hockey exhibition event provides all individuals a reduced ticket price of $5 for all fans, a savings of over $15 per ticket due to the sponsorship of Kohl's. Tickets for this event, as well as all men's hockey single game options, will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 21 at 8:30 a.m.
Ticket purchases will be first-come, first-served, and can be purchased at UWBadgers.com, at the UW Athletic Ticket Office or by calling 1-800-GO BADGERS.
The Badgers are led by third-year head coach Tony Granato, who also served as the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team head coach.
Senior defenseman, captain and two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten pick Peter Tischke leads a defensive corps that boasts five NHL draft picks, including 2018 first-round pick K'Andre Miller. Up front, senior alternate captain Seamus Malone leads what should be a balanced scoring attack, while junior and 2017 Honorable Mention All-Big Ten pick Jack Berry returns as the most experienced goaltender.
UW opens the regular season on Friday, Oct. 12, against national power Boston College at the Kohl Center.
