, Illinois State, Kansas, Marquette, Nevada, North Dakota, Northern Illinois, Rutgers, South Dakota State, UAB and Xavier.
5. Thoughts from Coach Burcin:
"It is always fun to begin a new season and begin at home. It gives the younger guys an extra week to settle in academically and we also get to start on a course that everyone will know very well. With the recent rains, the course is going to play longer then it has in years for the event and with the rough being long, it will be a good test."
"We have a wonderful opportunity this week to start off with a solid week and gunning for that first W in 2018. This group has high goals for this campaign both as a program and individually. With depth like the program hasn't seen in many years, we have been looking forward to this week for several months. We have a nice mix of older guys who have seen the program grow and younger impact kids who were very successful last year as freshmen and an exciting twosome coming in as freshmen this year."
