3. DENIED: UW made big stops on the defensive end, leading the Gophers in blocks and steals. UW tied a season-high with nine steals while recording seven blocks on the night. Senior Marsha Howard had a season-high three steals while senior Kelly Karlis and Luehring both added two takeaways for the Badgers. Junior Abby Laszewski was one block shy of a career-high with three blocks while Karlis and Lewis both contributed two blocked shots.

4. AGAINST NORTHWESTERN: Chicago's Big Ten Team has won 10 of the last 11 contests against Wisconsin, including five in a row in Evanston.

5. SCOUTING THE WILDCATS: Lindsay Pulliam led a hot shooting Northwestern team with a season high 27 points in the Wildcats', 75-69, victory at No. 25 Indiana Wednesday night in Assembly Hall. NU came out firing on all cylinders, having control of the lead the entire game to give the No. 25 Hoosiers their first home loss in over a year. Sunday's game will be celebrating Girls and Women in Sports Day.
