MADISON, Wis. – Under the Saturday night lights, Wisconsin fell to Penn State in a close 2-1 game at McClimon Soccer Complex.

It was a quiet first half, as the Badgers and Nittany Lions moved the ball up and down the field. The Badgers had one save on goal by
Dean Cowdroy. Penn State's Callum Pritchatt scored first for the Nittany Lions, sneaking the ball past Cowdroy in the 13th minute. The Badgers were flagged six times in the first half.

Once action returned in the second half, Penn State put another tally on the board. Aaron Molby kicked it in unassisted in the 65th minute.Â

The Badgers finally got on the board in the 79th minute. Standing close to the goal, Inaki Irribarren knocked it past Penn State's goalie, Kris Shakes. Inaki was assisted with a corner kick from
Matthew Comiskey.
Noah Liebold led the Badgers in shots with two on the night.Â
