
Five Things to Know: Badgers compete at the ITA-All Americans

Four Badgers will compete this week in Tulsa
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's tennis team is back in action at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Americans competition in Oklahoma. A select number of Badgers will journey south to play in the tournament that starts on Saturday, October 5 and concludes on Sunday, October 13.
1. FRESHMAN FEVER: In their first weekend competing for UW, the three new freshman members took control at the Bayliss Invitational at Notre Dame. In the singles bracket, Robin Parts put up three wins and Gabriel Huber tallied two. The Badger freshman team of Gabriel Huber and Scott Sculley put up an additional win in the doubles bracket.
2. WESTERMAN'S WING: "Four of our guys are very excited to participate in the prestigious ITA All American event in Tulsa. Our entire team has been very working hard and these four deserve the chance to go and compete against the nation's best. It will be a great experience for them to see where they are at in their development. I expect them to compete extremely well and can see all four guys doing some damage in the draw if they play well."

ABOUT THIS WEEKEND: Robert Krill, Jared Pratt, Chase Colton, and Lenard Soha will compete in the pre-qualifying singles bracket at the ITA All-Americans, which will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The tournament opens this weekend with pre-qualifying singles before moving to qualifying singles on Monday.
5. UP NEXT: The Badgers will bring the competition to the ITA Regionals on Oct. 17-21 in Columbus, Ohio.
