2. MORE FOR MONSON: Five time All-American, Alicia Monson is coming off a BIG meet after winning the individual Big Ten title two weeks ago for the second year in a row. She looks to continue her phenomenal season this week at the Great Lakes Regional, where she placed first at last year's meet.
3. RANKED RUNNERS: The USTFCCCA released national and regional coaches poll last week placing Wisconsin at No. 7 nationally and No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region.
4. MACK'S MINUTE: "The ladies have a bit of an axe to grind after missing out on the Big Ten Championships by just a handful of points, but the snow and the cold will be a great equalizer. It's a great chance for us to go out on our home course and show just how tough we are." -Head Coach Mackenzie Wartenberger
5. NCAA QUALIFICATIONS: The Badgers are hoping to finish among the top-two teams again at this year's Great Lakes Regional to clinch an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships on Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Indiana. The top-two team finishers in every regional automatically advance to the NCAA Championships with the field rounding out with 13 at-large teams being selected by the committee Saturday.
