Wisconsin Head Coach Greg Gard

On returning home and its effect on winning big:
"We play well at home. We always have. But, we also made shots early, got a little mojo going, got some confidence and made good things happen."

On Kobe King being so explosive, scoring a career high 24 points:
"I keep trying to remind myself, so I'll remind everybody else, he's on the younger end of the barometer, so to speak. There's going to be some ups and downs. He's gonna have some really good games and then there's gonna be some times where he's inconsistent. He's just gotta have that same aggressive mindset and learn to keep it under control. I thought today, for the most part, he did a really good job at that."

Sophomore Guard Kobe King

On Wisconsin's locker room not getting discouraged, despite losses:

"The last couple days it has been really tight in the locker room. Some teams or groups might drift apart, but we came together and decided to come today and say, 'Let's play, play with that confidence, play with that swagger," and we did that today."

On how this group has stayed tight despite adversity:
"Just staying together, not going off individually, even if it's just three, four guys in a group. We're just always feeding that confidence back to each other. Negativity can bring down a group and I think we were all positive the last few days and I think that's a big reason why we were so good offensively today."

On what made the offense so effective today:
"Offensive movement, when it comes down to it. When we are moving, having the ball pop in, we become a lot more effective. I think at times teams that have been playing that type of defense that NC State has been playing and other teams have been playing we weren't necessarily sticking to our guns. The coaches got on us about running our offense and not letting the defense dictate. That's how we went into the Marquette game. We all sat down with the coaches and we figured out what works best for us and executed on it."

Junior Forward Nate Reuvers

On what fueled the team today:

"We definitely build on each other, shots like that, especially the crowd was getting into it too. We were just playing aggressive."

Senior Guard Brevin Pritzl

On how the team hit the reset button:
"It's Big ten season. Big Ten games are what we pride ourselves for when the season starts...it's 0-0, we are all starting all over. All the non-conference stuff kind of goes on the back burner. Everybody is starting on the same slate. So, [the Hoosiers] were 8-0, but at the end of the day we are all coming into the Big Ten 0-0 and you have to play with that mentality. You want to win the first one and keep the momentum going."
