DENVER – After a spectacular 6-0 start to the 2019 season, the Wisconsin women's tennis team suffered its first setback of the year, a 5-2 road defeat at Denver on Friday night. Â
Senior
Sara Castellano, ranked No. 35 in the country, continued her unstoppable campaign to the 2019 season. The senior beat Bianca Mok, ranked No. 88, in straight-sets, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 1 singles to improve to 7-0 in dual play.
It was freshman
Ava Markham who notched the second tally on the scoreboard for the Cardinal and White. The Demarest, New Jersey, native notched a win over Denver's Camille Anderson, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 5 singles.Â
