MADISON, Wis. –  After a road split at Bemidji State, the No. 2 Wisconsin women's hockey team returns home to the friendly confines of LaBahn Arena to take on Minnesota State. Puck drop on Saturday and Sunday will be at 2 p.m. and both games are sold out.

Parking on Saturday will be available for $5 in Lots 29, 46 and 91 while parking for Sunday's series finale is free.

In addition, both games will be on the radio as Reid Magnum and UW goaltending coach Mark Greenhalgh can be heard on Saturday on 100.9 FM while Sunday's game will be on 1310 WIBA.

1. MARKING HIS MARK: This weekend will be a special one for UW head coach and legend Mark Johnson as he will have his jersey retired on Saturday during the Badgers' men's hockey game against Ohio State. The winningest coach in NCAA women's national collegiate ice hockey history, Johnson will become the first men's hockey player to have his jersey hang from the rafters of the Kohl Center. The women's hockey team will wear special warmups honoring their leader on Sunday after Saturday's celebration.

2. CLOSING IN ON THE CENTURY CLUB: Wisconsin forwards Sam Cogan and Abby Roque are closing in on an exclusive club in UW history. Both Badgers enter this weekend's contest against Minnesota State with 99 career points, just a point off the 100-point mark that only 24 Badgers in school history have ever reached. Both skaters are coming off a hot weekend at Bemidji, Cogan is produced a two-goal performance while Roque earned an assist in UW's 4-0 win at Bemidji State on Saturday.

3. DOMINANT D: Ā Wisconsin's has locked-down opponents this season as UW leads the country in scoring defense, holding opponents to an average of 1.18 goals per game. The stellar defense is led by junior goaltender Kristen Campbell who was named WCHA Goalie of the month for January. Campbell leads the country in goals-against average with a 1.15 goals-against average while she's also tied for the NCAA lead in shutouts with six this year.

4. AGAINST THE MAVS: UW leads the all-time series with Minnesota State with an 82-2-3 record. UW has a 23-game unbeaten streak, outscoring MSU 112-10. Wisconsin handled the MSU earlier this season, sweeping the Mavericks 2-1 and 2-0 on the road Nov. 2-3. The Badgers can expect a big impact from senior forward Annie Pankowski, who has been a thorn in the side of the Mavericks with 31 career points in her four years despite missing the series against MSU earlier this season.

5. LA BAHN IS LOUD: LaBahn Arena has become the premier place to play in women's college hockey as the Badgers have sold out every single regular-season game this year, including this weekend's series against Minnesota State. The Badgers have been stellar in Madison over the last three years, compiling a 70-2-2 record and a 69-2-2 record at LaBahn Arena. This year UW has averaged almost four goals a game at LaBahn while giving up only 16 goals in 16 home games.
