MADISON, Wis. – Starting the night with 99 career goals, five shy of Madison-area native Phil Kessel's all-time goal-scoring record for the U.S. National Team Development Program, Wisconsin signee Cole Caufield tallied six goals against the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers on Friday to reset the program goal-scoring record.

Caufield, the younger brother of UW freshman forward
Brock Caufield, now has 51 goals in 50 games this season with the U.S. Under-18 Team. He tallied 54 goals in 59 games played last year with the U.S. Under-17 team.
His 54 goals last season were one shy of the US NTDP's single-season record of 55 set by current Toronto Maple Leafs' star forward Auston Matthews.
Against college teams this season, Caufield tallied 14 goals and 19 points in 17 contests.
Teammate and fellow Wisconsin signee Alex Turcotte also scored in the game and ranks fifth on the U.S. Under-Team with 21 goals and 49 points in just 28 games played this season.
Owen Lindmark, also a Badger signee, has 10 goals and 20 points in 41 games played with Team USA this season.
