MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin earned the No. 4 seed in the 2019 Big Ten Tournament. The Badgers have been seeded among the top four in 16 of the last 18 seasons.

1. TOURNAMENT TIME: The Badgers are 25-18 overall in 20 Big Ten tournament appearances, winning championships in 2004, 2008 and 2015. Wisconsin has also advanced to the tournament finals four additional years: 2005, 2007, 2013 and 2017. UW's three tournament titles trail only Michigan State (5) and Ohio State (4). The Badgers' seven championship game appearances is second to only Ohio State (8).

2. SWEET 14: Wisconsin tallied 14 Big Ten wins for just the third time in school history, joining 16-win seasons in 2008 and 2015.

3. LET'S MARCH: The Badgers are positioning themselves for a return to the NCAA tournament. Wisconsin is one of just five schools to participate in 19 of the last 20 NCAA tournaments with trips to the Sweet 16 or better in four of the last five seasons, including two under head coach Greg Gard.

4. RESUME BUILDING: The Badgers checked in at No. 15 in the March 12 NET rankings and No. 12 according to KenPom.com. Wisconsin is one of just eight teams with nine Quadrant 1 wins. UW has played the sixth-toughest schedule in the NCAA (per KenPom.com).

5. MARCH IS ON: Over the last six seasons (since 2013-14), the Badgers are 30-9 (.769) in the month of March, the best winning percentage among Big Ten teams.
