Wisconsin football to hold open practice on April 13

Event includes Kids Fair and Town Hall
MADISON, Wis. β Want to catch your first glimpse of the 2019 Wisconsin football team? Have some kids who want to interact and play games with Badger student-athletes? Interested in hearing from UW Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez? Then head down to Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday, April 13.
The annual Badger Sports Kids' Fair presented by BMO Harris in the McClain Center begins at 9 a.m. Fans young and old will enjoy interactive games and activities, the chance to meet Badger student-athletes and much more. There will be plenty of giveaways for kids throughout the event, while supplies last. The Kids' Fair will run until noon with free admission. Access for the event is available by entering Camp Randall Stadium Gates 2 or 3.
A new event featuring Wisconsin Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez will take place at the UW Field House beginning at 10:30 a.m. This town hall-style event will include a moderated question and answer session with Coach Alvarez. The event will last until approximately 11:30 a.m. and is also free to the public. Fans can enter the Field House through Gate B.
It all culminates with a Wisconsin Football Open Practice, presented by U.S. Cellular. Fans wishing to watch practice can enter Camp Randall Stadium starting at 11:30 a.m. through Gates 1 and 3. The Badgers will practice until approximately 1:15 p.m. At the conclusion of practice, head coach Paul Chryst, senior linebacker Chris Orr and junior running back Jonathan Taylor will take part in a brief Q and A. Admission to practice is free for the public.
The non-football game carry-in policy will be in effect for this event. Bags larger than 8.5" X 11" (including backpacks), food, beverages, camera lenses longer than 4" and video recorders are among the prohibited items. For the complete carry-in policy, please click here.
In addition to those events, Bucky's Locker Room will hold its annual Spring Sidewalk Sale on Friday, April 12 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Located inside Gate 1 of Camp Randall Stadium, Bucky's Locker Room is your home for all your Badger apparel needs.
