MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin will host Iowa on Thursday in the final home game of the season. The Badgers have won seven of the last nine against the Hawkeyes, including three of the last four at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers need two wins to secure a top-four finish and clinch a double bye in the 2019 Big Ten Tournament.

Khalil Iverson and Charles Thomas prior to the game. The trio has combined for 370 games played (195 starts), owning a record of 84-49 (43-29 B1G), advancing to a pair of Sweet 16s.
1. RESUME BUILDING: The Badgers checked in at No. 17 in the March 5 NET rankings and No. 12 according to KenPom.com. Wisconsin is one of just 11 teams with eight Quadrant 1 wins. UW has played the sixth-longest schedule in the NCAA (per KenPom.com).
2. POSTSEASON MARCH:Â The Badgers are positioning themselves for a return to the NCAA tournament. Wisconsin is one of just five schools to participate in 19 of the last 20 NCAA tournaments with trips to the Sweet 16 or better in four of the last five seasons, including two under head coach
Greg Gard.
3. 20/20 WINNING: Wisconsin has won 20 games for the 19th time in school history. This also marks the 15th time in the last 17 years, equaling Michigan State for the most 20-win seasons in the Big Ten over that span.
4. LONGTIME RIVALS:Â Thursday's game between Wisconsin and Iowa marks the 166th meeting between the two programs, a rivalry that began in 1909. The Badgers lead the all-time series, 84-81. UW won this season's earlier matchup, claiming a 72-66 win in Iowa City on Nov. 30.
5. FEELS LIKE HOME:Â A native of Milan, Illinois,
Ethan Happ grew up about an hour's drive outside of Iowa City. Happ was AAU teammates with Iowa's Nicholas Baer on Quad-City Elite. Happ has scored in double figures in each of his last three outings against Iowa, including 21 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals last season at Iowa.
