Head coach Dusty Mattison
On the weekend:
"This weekend at Knecht Cup we had great weather and really fair conditions, so that was a great opportunity for us to see where we are at compared to the other IRA crews. Each time we raced down the course, afterwards we were able to talk about what went well and what we needed to work on and then go back out again and execute. We are finding things that we need to keep working on, especially now that we will have some time on Lake Mendota, and that's exciting. We feel that we are in a good spot and where we expected to be. Our speed is probably similar to Georgetown and Radcliffe right now so that is good. That's give us motivation heading into Eastern Sprints in a couple weeks, and now we just have to keep refining and finding a race plan and a rhythm that works for us for the rest of the season."
