Pratt and Freimuth pick up wins in 5-2 loss

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's tennis team (9-10 overall, 3-5 B1G) was overpowered by an elite No. 19 Michigan (15-6 overall, 6-3 B1G) squad and fell 5-2 to drop the Big Ten Conference battle.

Freshman Jared Pratt picked up one of Wisconsin's two wins on Sunday afternoon with a straight set win over Patrick Maloney, 7-5, 6-2. Sophomore Jesper Freimuth tallied the other one, beating Michigan's Mattias Siimar, 6-3, 7-5.

Up Next: Wisconsin returns home for the last weekend of regular season play with home matches against Northwestern and Illinois.
