MADISON, Wis. – Marsha Howard, a 2019 second-team All-Big Ten selection, has signed to play professionally in Luxembourg, beginning in 2019-20.  The 6-foot forward will begin her professional career with BBC Telstar in Hesperange of the Total League, the most competitive professional league for women in Luxembourg.

"Although I am a tad nervous to begin my professional basketball career overseas, I am very ecstatic to start this new chapter in my life," said Howard. Howard wrapped up her Badger career as a two-time All-Big Ten selection and was named to the Big Ten Honor Roll twice as a senior. She picked up her 1,000^th career point at Ohio State on Feb. 17, 2019, becoming the 26^th Badger to the hit the grand mark. Howard finished her career with 1,131 points, which ranks 21^st on the UW record list.

She became just the 15^th UW player to record 1,000 points and 600 rebounds in a career, finishing with 694 boards, which ranks 10^th all time. Howard also ranks 10^th as a Badger in career field goal percentage at .486 (464-955), 10^th in rebounds per game (6.37) and 10^th with 15 double-doubles.
