MADISON, Wis. - In their regular season opener, the Wisconsin men's soccer team fell short in a 2-0 battle to UC-Davis at the McClimon Soccer Complex on Friday night.
Â
The Badgers (0-1-0) defense was tested as UC Davis (1-0-0) held the ball for the majority of first half play. The team came out with more aggression in the second half to total six shots.
Â
Senior goalkeeper
Dean Cowdroy recorded three saves. Despite the efforts of Cowdroy, the Aggies were able to score two goals off of eight shots on the night to secure a win.
