On Wisconsin's final offensive possession:
"It was more or less knowing we had a lot of time with 12 seconds that we didn't necessarily have to shoot it if it wasn't going to be open, but obviously (Brad Davison) came pretty clean. He's very courageous. That play he made to steal it and to throw it off the guy's leg. The kid's a winner, he makes winning plays, then turns around and makes another one."

On Wisconsin's win being gritty, not pretty:
"I think it's just the league, nothing comes easy. As I said, in the first half we couldn't get separation, I would've liked to have gone in with much more than a five-point lead and then second half we couldn't get stops until the last five-six minutes. There were only 25 possessions in the second half, it was a lower possession game, both teams were battling."

"Coach (Gard) had a great play call. It's something we have run throughout the year and have had a lot of success with...I got a lot of daylight and got a good look. Those are shots that we drill. Whether it's in practice or if I'm in here during late nights or early mornings. Those are the kind of shots that you dream about and you think about. So, to have the opportunity, I'm very thankful for that opportunity to see the ball drop. But most importantly, that's a big win for this team. Whenever you can stack two wins in a row in this league, especially this year, it goes a long ways and it's going to make Friday (at Michigan State) a really fun game."
