MADISON, Wis. — Winners in seven of their last nine games, the Badgers begin a challenging stretch on the road for three of their next four games, beginning Friday at Purdue. Tip is set for 6 p.m. (CT) on FS1.

1) SHARPSHOOTERS: Wisconsin connected on a school record 18 3-pointers in its 82-68 victory over Nebraska on Tuesday. Eight different Badgers recorded a 3-pointer against the Huskers, led by Brad Davison and Brevin Prizl with four apiece in the win. UW finished the night shooting a season-high 52.9 percent (18-for-34) from beyond the arc.

2) BATTLE TESTED: Wisconsin ranks No. 21 in the NET Rankings (as of Jan. 23), which also lists UW as facing the third-toughest schedule in the nation. The Badgers are also ranked No. 19 according to KenPom.com.

3) QUAD 1: Wisconsin has now tallied five Quadrant 1 wins this season, tied for most in the Big Ten. In fact, only two teams in the nation have more: #3 Kansas (8) and #10 Seton Hall (6).

4) SCOUTING PURDUE: Purdue is led by sophomore forward Trevion Williams who is averaging 11.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. The Boilermakers have four players averaging double-figure scoring this season. Purdue's losses have come against top-ranked competition, including Florida State, Butler, Michigan, Illinois and Maryland. Despite a rocky start, Purdue has notable victories at home this season with wins over Virginia and Michigan State in West Lafayette.

5) THE BIG 5-0: After defeating Nebraska on Tuesday night, head coach Greg Gard became the 52nd coach in history to win 50 Big Ten games. Gard's .610 win percentage in conference play ranks eighth among Big Ten coaches with 50 wins over the last 40 years.

ALL-TIME SERIES: PURDUE
  • Friday's game marks the 181st meeting between Wisconsin and Purdue in a series that dates back to 1906. Purdue leads the all-time series, 109-71, but the rivalry has been quite even recently, splitting the last 10 meetings.
