Wisconsin heads to East Lansing

MADISON, WIS.- The Badgers stay on the road and are headed to East Lansing to take on the Spartans in their lone meeting of the season on Sunday, Jan. 12.

Here are five things to know before tip-off at 2 p.m. (CT)

1. Nebraska Recap: The Badgers fell to the Cornhuskers on Jan. 9, the final score 65-50. Imani Lewis led the Badgers with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

2. Lewis' Land: Lewis has now recorded five consecutive double-doubles, with only three other Badgers in the history of the program to do equal or better. This was her seventh of the season and 12th career double-double, moving her into a tie for 12th place in career double-doubles.

3. Spartan Speak: Michigan State is currently 1-3 in conference play (8-7 overall). They have lost to No. 14 Indiana, Michigan and most recently, Penn State. The team was once ranked at No. 15 in the AP Top 25 Poll after upsetting No. 15 Notre Dame, and was ranked most of its season before falling out of the rankings after being upset by No. 22 WVU. The Spartans are led in scoring by Nia Clouden, who averages 15.1 ppg and Taryn McCutcheon, who averages 12.3 ppg. Clouden was named B1G Player of the Week on Nov. 18. Redshirt-senior, Shay Colley, has been named to Naismith Watch List.
