MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's track and field team heads to Milwaukee to compete in the Panther Tune-Up and South Bend, Indiana, to compete in the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday. The distance medley relay will compete in Indiana and throwers will head to Milwaukee. This will be the final round of competition before the Badgers travel to Ohio to compete in the Big Ten Championships on Feb. 28-29.

1. LAST TIME: The Badgers had a successful weekend competing in Seattle for the Husky Classic and Nashville for the Music City Challenge. On day one of the Husky Classic, all Badgers than ran recorded personal bests.Â
2. PERSONAL-BESTS: At the Husky Classic, redshirt senior Olin Hacker ran a personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 7 minutes, 52.48 seconds. Freshman Rowen Ellenberg also ran a personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:07.39, beating his high school record by more than 30 seconds. Redshirt sophomore Hudson Kugel ran a personal best in the 800 meters with a time of 1:48.94, which moved him up to No.8 on Wisconsin's indoor all-time top 10 performance list. Junior Tannor Wagner competed in the mile and ran a personal best time of 4:06.90. At the Music City Challenge, redshirt senior Zach Lorbeck comepted in the long jump and recorded an indoor personal best with a mark of 23 feet, 6 1/4 inches. Sophomore Peyton Frankendreider competed in the triple jump and jumped a personal best with a mark of 48-5 1/4.
3. NATIONAL RANKINGS: Currently, four Badgers are ranked nationally in the top 20 of their respective events. Senior Olli Hoare holds the top time in the mile from his performance at the Millrose Games, where he ran it in 3:56.47. Zach Lorbeck sits at No.9 in the heptathlon with 5,651 points from his performance at the Jack Johnson Classic. Hudson Kugel sits at No.15 in the 800 meters from his performance last weekend at the Husky Classic. Last but not least, redshirt senior Olin Hacker sits at No.19 in the 3,000 meters from his performance at the Husky Classic.
4. BIG SUCCESS: The Badgers wrap up their preparations for next weekend's Big Ten Indoor Championships. Last year at Big Tens, Wisconsin picked up three first-place finishes. The distance medley relay took home gold with a time of 9:44.62. Olli Hoare won the mile with a time of 4:02.67. Badger alum and national champion, Morgan McDonald, won the 5,000 meters with a time of 13:37.855.
