Abdullahi Hassan earned  personal bests on day two of the Larry Wieczorek Invitational.
The Rookie Can Run
 Hassan continues to be a force, finishing third in the 800-meter run with a personal record time of 1 minute, 50.34 seconds. Following Hassan were teammates
Austin Rendon, who finished third in 1:52.02,
Ansel Fellman who finished eighth in 1:53.36 and
Hudson Kugel who finished ninth in 1:53.87.

High Points in the Pole Vault
Sophomore
Chandlar Ifft placed second with a clearance of 16-0 3/4. Meldstrand placed fifth with his PR clearance of 15-7, which capped a total of three PRs for the Wisconsin men this weekend.
The Speedy 4x400
Davis Wenthe, Kugel, Hassan and
Colin Enz led Wisconsin to a third-place finish with a time of 3:14.66. Enz also competed in the 400-meter dash premier where he finished fifth in 48.39 seconds.Â

The Badgers put up a good effort in the preliminaries for the 60-meter hurdles with Wenthe finishing ninth in 8.40,
Quinn Lansill finishing 13th in 8.49,
Max Herkert finishing 16th in 8.93 and
Cade Amborn finishing 17th in 9.06.

Next Friday and Saturday the Badgers head to Illinois to compete in the Big Ten Multis.
