MADISON, Wis. — After taking down Maryland on Wednesday, the Badgers will play at Penn State on Saturday looking to sweep a two-game road trip. This game was originally set for Jan. 3, but was rescheduled due to COVID-19 issues.

Wisconsin has won the last 13 meetings against the Nittany Lions, including 8 straight wins at Penn State, the school's longest road winning streak against a Big Ten opponent in history.

THE STARTING FIVE

1) BACK-TO-BACK: Wisconsin and Penn State will meet in back-to-back games (1/30 and 2/2). The last time the Badgers played two straight against one foe was 2009-10, when UW faced Illinois in the final game of the regular season, then again against the Illini in the Big Ten tournament. The last time the Badgers played an opponent back-to-back during the regular season was back in 1983 against Ohio State.

2) LET'S GO STREAKING: The Badgers have won 13 straight meetings against the Nittany Lions, equaling the school's longest win streak against a single Big Ten opponent. PSU's last victory over Wisconsin was a 56-52 win in the 2011 Big Ten Tournament.

3) RESUME BUILDING: At the halfway point of the season, the Badgers are building an impressive resume. UW already has 7 wins over teams in the KenPom top 50, the most in the country. UW also has 8 Quad 1 and Quad 2 wins this season according to the NET rankings. Alabama (9) is the nation's only other team with 8+.

4) POTTER MAGIC: Micah Potter has scored in double figures in 14 of 17 games, including a season-high 23 points at Maryland earlier in the week. On the season, Potter is averaging 12.7 ppg and 6.8 rpg, while shooting a team-high 51.3% overall and 40.4% on 3FGs.

5) BALANCED BADGERS: Wisconsin has the luxury of different players stepping up on different nights. Six different Badgers have led UW in scoring in a game this season, led by D'Mitrik Trice doing so six times.
