MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men's soccer fell to Northwestern Tuesday night, 2-0.

Northwestern made their first goal in the 20th minute after a mixture of opportunities from corner kicks and some touches in the box.

Wisconsin went into the halftime break locked up at four shots attempted over the first 45 minutes of play.

The opportunities grew in the following period of play, but the Wildcats held tight on defense and UW could not find the back of the net.

Northwestern added a second goal in the 50th minute after
Inaki Iribarren tried to equalize the match earlier in the half.

Wisconsin finished the game outshooting NU 16-6 and attempted four shots on goal compared to two for the Wildcats.
